What we collect

• Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) generated automatically when you visit.
• Error/diagnostic data: we use Sentry to capture crash and performance information so we can fix problems.
• Local storage: a small flag recording your cookie-consent choice and any display preferences. We do not currently operate user accounts, advertising trackers, or sell data.

Why & legal basis

We process this data on the basis of legitimate interest (operating, securing and improving the site). We do not use it to build advertising profiles.

Processors

We rely on infrastructure providers who process data on our behalf, including Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database) and Sentry (error monitoring). Some may process data outside the EEA under appropriate safeguards.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, erase or restrict processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet). To exercise these rights, contact privacy@mediab.no.

Retention

Logs and diagnostic data are retained only as long as needed for security and debugging, then deleted or anonymised.
